John Eugene Chastain, 88, of Medford, Ore. passed away Tuesday May 31, 2016. He was born June 25, 1927 in Bristow, Okla. to Charles and Cora Lee (Dickson) Chastain.John came to the Rogue Valley from Oklahoma in 1945 . He married Arlene Lois Werner who preceded him. He had worked first for Rogue Disposal Co. and later in local sawmills.
