June 2, 1930 - February 5, 2018Vela Leru Adams passed away February 5, 2018. She was born June 2, 1930, in Arkansas to James, a sharecropper, and Hazel Wyatt. She was one of 11 children.The family moved to Bakersfield, California in 1945. Vela moved to Prospect, Oregon in 1955.
