March 25, 1921 - June 8, 2017 Betty Rogers, 96, was born in Elkhart, Indiana, the eldest of three children born to Ward Bishop McCartney and Mabel (Juni) McCartney. She graduated from Elkhart High in 1939, and Purdue University in 1942. Betty met Dallas K. Rogers in high school, and they were married Dec. 2, 1944.
