Shirley Hadley, the fifth of seven sisters, was born in November 1934. She was a maker, quilting, writing, cooking, sewing, and crocheting her way in life. She loved playing games of all kinds and was the undisputed scrabble champion of the family. Her sharp wit and humor never failed her.
