Nickerson III, also known as Jim, Jimmy, and Tator to his friends and family lost his life to a house fire at his White City, Oregon home January 14, 2017. He was born November 19, 1970 in Coos Bay, Oregon. In 1976 he moved with his family to Fairbanks, Alaska where Jim excelled in athletics including football and hockey.Jim moved back to Coos Bay, Ore. to finish school at Marshfield High School and graduated in 1989.
